Martin Morfin
EVP, President
Martin serves as EVP, President where he is responsible for the management and strategic direction of Excel. Martin is an accomplished executive with more than 15 years of experience in the aerial and underground utilities industry. He brings a unique blend of construction experience and financial expertise to his role.
Prior to joining Excel, Martin was the Chief Operating Officer at Jackson Infrastructure Services. Martin began his career as a Laborer and worked his way up to Foreman. He also held various positions at Danella Power Services of CA, Inc., Asplundh Construction, and Kiewit – from Controller and Division Manager, to Estimator and VP of Operations.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Accounting from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Virginia. Martin also holds a Contractors License – General Engineering “A” License, and is a Certified Public Accountant, and OSHA 30 Certified.

Dustin Darrah
EVP, Telecommunications​
Dustin serves as EVP, Telecommunications where he is responsible for Excel's Telecommunications division.
Dustin has been in the utility contracting industry since the early 1990s. Dustin joined Ditch Witch in 1996 where he quickly progressed through the ranks and attained Top 10 National Salesperson of the Year. In 2000, Dustin took his previous field experience and customer relationships and started Darrah Contracting Inc. Dustin grew Darrah Contracting from a handful of operators to over 45 professionals managing a range of customer projects for AT&T and Ameren and partnering with some of the largest underground utility contractors in St. Louis. In December 2021, Dustin sold Darrah Contracting to Revive Holdings. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management from Missouri State University.

Roy Axon
Vice President, Broadband
Roy serves as Vice President, Broadband in Excel’s Telecommunications division. Roy brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including underground and aerial construction and military base infrastructure projects.
Roy began his career at just 17 years old, working on an i3mp upgrade for a military base with a backhoe and two-man crew. Since then, he has overseen several large-scale, turnkey Fiber-To-The-Home builds for major clients across the country. Customers consistently recognize Roy’s dedication, attention to detail, and deep respect for both the team and the mission. His grit and determination, combined with his commitment to excellence, has enabled him to continue working his way up the ranks and has helped Excel expand its Broadband business.

Jean Howell
VP, Controller
Jean serves as VP, Controller where she is responsible for leading Excel's finance and accounting functions, as well as assisting with overall operations, including bonding, insurance, licensing, and permitting.
Jean began her career in the telecommunications industry in the early 1990s in a variety of roles within the financial and administrative teams of emerging and established utility construction companies. Jean established herself as a highly dependable and proficient team member and quickly rose through the ranks progressing from such roles as locate specialist, payroll clerk/lead and cost-to-complete lead. Early in her career, Jean learned how to analyze blueprints and engineering specs firsthand from owners and senior operators in the field which has enabled her to focus on project profitability analysis and to drive work-in-progress and job costing efforts across Excel. Jean is a proud U.S. Navy veteran having served honorably for four years abroad and within the U.S. She was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and a Letter of Commendation for her service.

Mike Hasenstab
Vice President, Power​
Mike serves as Vice President in Excel's Power division.
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked for some of the largest Power and Telecommunications companies in the country. For the last 20 years, Mike has focused on the underground electric field. He has worked his way up from an aerial ground hand/laborer to Vice President.

Mike thrives in challenging situations that have helped him grow into his current role. Mike’s biggest passion and commitment are safety, being on time, and being under budget for each job. His attention to detail and lust for over-performing has kept his customers returning year after year to meet their project needs. Mike believes that our customers’ problems are our biggest problems, meaning customer satisfaction is #1. Mike has received numerous awards in his career ranging from Crew of the Year, to Manager of the Year and has also been Safety Champion four times.

Mark Sorrells
Vice President, Telecommunications​
Mark serves as Vice President in Excel’s Telecommunications division where he oversees all field employees and subcontractors in his region, making sure projects run smoothly and teams stay focused on delivering great results. Mark is a seasoned leader with more than 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Throughout his career, Mark has successfully managed a wide range of projects, including large-scale work for the Department of Defense (DOD), government agencies, and commercial clients. Mark holds numerous industry certifications — including ITIL, BICSI, Leviton, Panduit, OSHA Training, and Lift Truck Train-the-Trainer. Mark’s focus on teamwork, safety, and getting the job done right continues to drive success for both his teams and his clients.

David Drury
Vice President, Telecommunications​
David serves as Vice President in Excel’s Telecom division and brings more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
​
David began his career in the utility industry in 1987 as a boom truck operator in Coastal Caisson’s drilling division. In the 1990s, he transitioned into the directional drilling industry as an owner-operator, successfully completing numerous telecom projects during the early stages of the nation’s fiber expansion. His hands-on field experience and entrepreneurial drive provided him with a deep understanding of utility and telecom construction from the ground up.
​
Over the next three decades, David advanced into senior leadership roles, overseeing more than $300 million in large-scale fiber and utility infrastructure projects. As Vice President of Partnerships and Procurement at Revive Infrastructure Group (Excel’s parent company), he led, and streamlined, subcontractor onboarding and compliance processes, and negotiated contracts with more than 150 subcontractors.

David is recognized for his ability to bridge the gap between field operations and senior management with a focus on growth, efficiency, and excellence in the ever evolving world of telecommunications.
